SECU Foundation People Helping People Scholarship
The SECU Foundation People Helping People Scholarship is a prestigious award designed to support North Carolina public high school seniors in their journey to higher education. Valued at $10,000, this scholarship is disbursed over eight consecutive semesters, providing $1,250 per semester to recipients attending one of the 16 universities in the UNC System.
The scholarship recognizes students who embody leadership, integrity, and a commitment to community involvement. Applicants must be SECU members or eligible for membership through a parent/guardian. Preference is given to students whose families work in public service sectors and to those pursuing degrees in related fields.
