Trinidad is home to no less than 18 mud volcanoes. These geological wonders do not spew larva, instead they ooze a richly rejuvenating mud formed when natural gas is mixed with saltwater, and a relatively soft clay type soil deep within the Earth's crust. They are quite intriguing and mystical natural features and Trinidad is the best place in the Caribbean to see one.
