Ethics

Ethics in wildlife photography is very important not only so that photos represent a realistic interpretation of various wildlife, but also so that the animals we deeply care about are not stressed, harmed or injured in any way to get the "perfect" picture. An image is not worth the life of any animal. We must be guided by compassion and conservation and always put the welfare of the subject first. 

West Indian Herping have high ethical standards and we expect the same from all our participants. We will work with and assist participants with their photography to achieve their desired pictures in a way that respects the subjects. 

Please note that there is a time limit with each subject to avoid unwanted stress or harm. 

West Indian Herping offers the option of trips with fully customizable itineraries according to the dates and places desired by our clients.
