Work engagement analysis about an existing company is conducted using data collected from Glassdoor. Current and former employee statements are used to analyze strengths and areas of opportunity for further development and balanced approach of job demands compared to available resources. Solutions are presented to increase work engagement through different intervention methods, applications, and proposed implementation.
Organizational Leadership
Topics were explored related to the role of leadership in employee development and organizational changes. Included are major theories and principles of organizational leadership and skills to identify, measure, and evaluate leadership effectiveness.
Submitted Work: Leadership Interview
An interview was conducted with the Mayor of Commerce, TX regarding upcoming mayoral responsibilities once taking office in May 2022. This discussion provided insight and recommendations for his leadership ability while reflecting on his previous career and personal experiences. This interview allowed for additional analysis, using concepts and terminology learned to determine leadership type and application for previous and upcoming organizational needs.
Talent Development
Talent development approaches are explored regarding alignment of human resources with organizational goals and workforce planning. Diagnosis of current talent development or management strategies is conducted, analyzing organizational and individual competencies, assessing the current people development practices, and creating a plan that aligns learning, leadership, and career solutions.

An interview was conducted with a talent development professional regarding succession planning. Organizational priorities were discussed on how to assess talent needs, workforce planning, job performance, individual development, and employee assessments. Analysis was conducted post-interview regarding interview insights into human capital management to determine individual economic value opportunities for individual and organizational development.
