Fulbright English Teaching Assistants should refer to instructions sent by the French Embassy in Washington/TAPIF.

Please note that visa and residency permit procedures are subject to change at any time, and that consular officers/visa processing staff are at liberty to ask for supplementary documentation from visa applicants as their discretion.

Two to four months before a visa expires, grantees prolonging their stay (for example, to pursue the second year of a master's degree) must apply for a residency permit. Instructions for students may be found on the following websites:
