Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a POWERFUL tool that is becoming more and more essential in schools, workplaces and even at home. When using ICT, we have to learn to harness its power for good and not for evil, take it from this guy ⇊

When we are online, we get this certain sense of anonymity. Studies have shown that people tend to act more harshly and irrationally when their identity is anonymous. That is precisely why when we are online, we need to remember that we are actually engaging with other real humans.
The things we say online can be easily misinterpreted or misconstrued. This is because unlike in face-to-face interactions, in cyberspace, we are taking away all tone and non-verbal cues such as body language, which add so much to a conversation.
