Telšiai, the capital of the historical region called Žemaitija (Latin Samogitia), is a town woven with legends and located on seven hills by the Lake Mastis.
Telšiai now is being called “Town of Arts” and in 2016 was Lithuanian Capital of Culture
Symbol of Telšiai is a bear and you can find more than 40 bears in the town

Telsiu lopselis – darzelis „Eglute“ is a public kindergarden. There are 230 children from 2 to 7 years old. Our institution has chosen art direction. Children sing, dance, paint, model every day. Children participate in exhibitions and contests all the time. We like to participate in local and regional projects actively.
There are 49 people working in the kiderngarden - 29 educators and 20 of service staff.
