Our mission is to help individuals build confidence, improve both physical and mental fitness, develop strong social skills, and create lasting friendships; all while learning to play football in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
At Worcestershire Disability Football Club, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy football, develop their potential, and feel part of our football family.
Our aims are to:
Provide high-quality coaching and football opportunities for people with additional needs in a safe, positive, and well-managed environment where player welfare is always our priority.
Ensure that football is accessible to all, promoting equality, inclusion, respect, and opportunity regardless of ability or background.
Support every player to develop at a pace that is appropriate to their individual needs and abilities, encouraging confidence, independence, and lifelong participation in football.
Encourage parents, carers, families, volunteers, and the wider community to play an active role in supporting the club and helping it thrive.
Promote disability football across Worcestershire, increasing awareness and creating more opportunities for people with additional needs to participate in the game.
Foster a positive team culture where players develop friendships, build resilience, learn respect for others, and enjoy the physical, social, and mental wellbeing benefits that football provides.
Uphold the standards and values of The FA by creating an environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, safeguarding is embedded in everything we do, and every player can enjoy football in a fun, safe, and supportive setting.
