Sacred Transformation

About the Podcast

Welcome to The Sacred Transformation Podcast, brought to you by WayPoint Coaching Community. We are a community of coaches, spiritual directors, counselors and other one to one transformational workers who use our skills to create authentic, irreversible, transformational life change. We are a group of people who all identify as Christian although our faiths are as unique as we are. What is common amongst us is our understanding that the work we do around transformation is sacred and Christ-inspired - for the purpose of impacting our journey to wholeness.

Each podcast series is an extension of this understanding, opening up conversations with WayPoint members and those who have inspired and influenced them in their work, life, or faith. Every conversation is designed to help anyone who is a transformational worker or who loves the topic of transformation to be inspired, encouraged, and equipped.

Season 1: Coming Back to Life

Our first series was recorded and released in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic and at a time of much social activism. This is a season when the whole world has lost its sense of 'normal' and we've all been thrust into the process of change. As an organization, WayPoint has focused on the process of change and liminality for several years. As the impact of the virus unfolded across the world, it became visible to us that we were entering a large scale liminal change process , which includes death (of how things were), a period of waiting (which usually lasts longer than we want it to) and then the rising of something profoundly new.

The conversations in this series center around the process of 'coming back to life' because understanding the arc of death and resurrection is key to navigating this season well. We hope you will find fresh insights for how to think about your own journey as well as a sense of purpose for the story that's unfolding in the world right now.

Our host for this season is Helen Cottee

Helen Cottee is one of our WayPoint members and part of the current leadership team. She is a certified personal and professional coach who focuses on the process of individual and systemic reform. Helen is a keen communicator and, as an Enneagram Four, is passionate about authentic conversation and in each of us creating something beautiful in the world through our lives, work, and faith.
