We've got spirit yes we do! WEB has spirit flags for sale, just in time for holiday gift ideas. Order forms coming home today via backpacks and due back to school with payment by Fri, Nov 16.
Thank you all for your support of a fantastic Fun Run. 212 students raised $6,700, breaking all records in our 5-year history and beating our event goal. That’s also a student participation rate of 45%, much higher than ever before. Pledges may still trickle in so we will announce prize winners at the next school assembly.
Special thanks to Wayne State College for the popular new water bottles, and to all our volunteers, including students from WSC Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Soccer, Cross Country, and Track & Field; WEB parents; and school staff. We are grateful for the smooth transition from the track to inside the school just before the rain came. As always, we thank Mr. Hoskins for his terrific help running the activities.

Thank you to all of our amazing parent and community volunteers, donors, and business supporters!
Big Thank You to Magic Wok for the great fundraiser! Families enjoyed great food and some early Halloween fun and $180 was raised for WEB. We are fortunate to have such a supportive community of families and businesses!
The 1912 Emporium donated over $200 to Wayne Elementary Boosters after a fundraiser was held on March 20, 2018, called “Round Up for WEB.” The 1912 Emporium rounded up all final sales receipts between 6 and 9 pm to the closest $5 and donated that amount to WEB. The event was held on Locals Night to kick off the store’s spring preview weekend. These funds help provide resource support to Wayne Elementary School, like with WEB’s recent purchase of $200 in Dr. Seuss library books to replace the ones used so often by students. Pictured at the check presentation is Lukas Rix, co-owner of the 1912 Emporium, with Erin Palu, Secretary for WEB. For more information about WEB, visit www.wayneweb.org
New Runza Night Record for Wayne Elementary
The community helped set a new record at Runza Night on Tuesday, March 20, raising $520 for Wayne Elementary School. Wayne Runza donated 15% of all sales from dine-in, carry-out, and drive-thru directly to the school. Wayne Elementary staff volunteered in the dining room serving customers and clearing tables. Over the last five years, the Wayne Runza has donated nearly $4,000 to Wayne Elementary and Wayne Elementary Boosters (WEB). Thank you to everyone who came out to show their support.
WEB donated $200 to purchase 35 new Dr. Seuss books for the school library. These books are heavily used and needed serious replacement. Oh the places you’ll go!
