So, how did this all come about...? The founder of Troop 4336, Dawn Martin, was a troop leader from 2013 - 2022, when her Ambassadors bridged to Adults. Over the years, she'd also volunteered for the Park Hills Service Unit (PHSU) as an Activities Consultant (AC) and Service Unit Manager. During her time as AC, she was inspired by other service units creating awesome outdoor opportunities for their scouts and created the PHSU #GetOutdoors patch program. Through that program, she realized that her real passion was in creating those types of opportunities for scouts. So, when her own scouts graduated, she decided to carry on with the troop. 

With a lifetime of experience sailing and on the water, she first thought about creating a Mariners Group. But she also loves backpacking and other terrestrial activities. Thus, a hybrid was born: a High Adventure troop!
