Welcome 

We are a friendly group of over 180 beekeepers and associate members from the Waveney area and beyond. Membership of the group provides the opportunity to attend monthly social events, get helpful advice and support from experienced beekeepers, and incorporates general and public liability insurance from the BBKA as well as bee disease insurance from the BDI. The membership joining period opens on the 1st January and closes on 31st December online application form will be available during this time.

Our key aims are: 

• to promote the craft of beekeeping and encourage sound practices in the management of bees

• to advance the education of schools and the public in the importance of bees in the environment

• to provide services like swarm collection to the public.
