Schuylkill Action Network

About the Schuylkill Action Network (SAN)

The SAN is a collaborative network of environmental partners and stakeholders working to protect drinking water sources. The SAN takes a watershed-wide approach by partnering with upstream communities, water suppliers, businesses, government agencies, academia, and environmental organizations to implement projects and provide educational, professional, recreational, and stewardship opportunities.

The SAN is comprised of six workgroups that collaborate to find innovative solutions to watershed issues. The workgroups include:

  • Abandoned Mine Drainage

  • Agriculture

  • Engagement & Stewardship (*new* and previously the Education & Outreach and Recreation workgroups)

  • Pathogens & Point Source

  • Stormwater

  • Watershed Land Collaborative

How to get involved:

Any and everyone is welcome to join the SAN! Whether it’s becoming a workgroup member, attending an event, or just signing up for our list-serv, we’re always looking to expand our reach. Start by signing up for our emails or contacting Erica Rossetti, SAN Coordinator, at ERossetti@DelawareEstuary.org.
