Unable to attend the Watershed Congress in person? No need to worry, because we have many virtual sessions to offer. This year, our Keynote will be presented by Brian Vadino, Kent Himelright, and Karen Wilwol, who serve as conservation district watershed specialists. Michael Griffiths, Environmental Education Coordinator & Watershed Specialist with Berks Nature, will serve as moderator of this panel discussion. Discussion topics will include funding opportunities for installation of buffers and lawn conservation projects, as well as how conservation districts can contribute to watershed protection and restoration. The 2023 Watershed Congress will be held on Saturday, March 25 in person and virtual sessions will take place the week of March 27-30.
Virtual sessions will be available as a standalone ticket or as part of full access tickets. These sessions will be on Zoom. You can register for Virtual only, In Person only or the Full event.

The 2023 Watershed Congress will be held on Saturday, March 25, at the Montgomery County Community College -Pottstown Campus. Virtual Watershed Congress sessions will be held the week of March 27-31, 2023.
Early bird pricing for this year's Watershed Congress is available until February 28, 2023. There are three types of registrations: Full Access includes access to the in-person Watershed Congress on March 25, 2023 at Montgomery County Community College and includes access to all virtual sessions during the week of March 27-31, 2023; In Person Only includes access to the in-person Watershed Congress on March 25, 2023 at Montgomery County Community College; and Virtual Only includes access to all virtual sessions during the week of March 27-31, 2023.

This year's Keynote will be examining the Ecological Status and Perceptions of the Schuylkill River. We are excited to welcome Michael Hartshorne of Princeton Hydro and Tim Fenchel of the Schuylkill River Greenway NHA to share this presentation with us.

An amazing group of speakers joined us for the 2022 Watershed Congress which was presented today as a special event focused on the Clean Water Act at 50.
Our speakers collectively covered the basics of the Clean Water Act, shared perspectives from specific communities, and discussed opportunities for more progress. And hope!
The value of today's program will continue to grow as as we distribute the recordings beyond the audience that was able to join us today.

Save the Date! The 2022 Watershed Congress will be held virtually on Saturday, October 22.
In a Watershed Congress special event, this year’s theme is focused on the Clean Water Act at 50. The Watershed Congress 2022 programming will be shorter than in previous years to allow the spotlight to remain on the 50th Anniversary of 1972’s landmark legislation.
Join us as environmental leaders from our region present an in-depth look at the promise of the Clean Water Act, the effectiveness of its implementation to date, what it has meant for our communities, and the future of ongoing efforts and advocacy to secure truly fishable and swimmable waters.

We plan to return with a full Watershed Congress in Spring 2023.

Lundale Farm received the 100 tress from our 2021 Virtual Scavenger hunt, sponsored by the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership!
The Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership sponsored a virtual scavenger hunt where Watershed Congress participants were provided with the opportunity to win a voucher for 100 containerized trees. The prize went to R. Spurlino with Lundale Farm, a non-profit organization committed to sustainable agriculture. The trees donated by the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership will be planted as part of Lundale Farm’s forestry management program.

All 2021 Watershed Congress participants are invited to take part in our Virtual Exhibit Hall Scavenger Hunt with a chance to win a voucher for 100 containerized trees being donated by the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership!
Do you know of a watershed organization looking to plant a buffer project? Is your community planning to reforest open space? Are you and your neighbors interested in increasing the density of trees along a stream?
If so, enter the Watershed Congress Virtual Exhibit Hall Scavenger Hunt. You have chance to win a voucher for 100 containerized trees that will be ready for planting in Spring 2022. These trees are being donated by Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership.
To complete the questions in our Scavenger Hunt, hunt down the answers in the Watershed Congress Virtual Exhibit Hall. Once you have found all the answers, submit them through the form here.
The winner will order their trees in mid-December for planting in the Spring Season (March to May 2022).
