An amazing group of speakers joined us for the 2022 Watershed Congress which was presented today as a special event focused on the Clean Water Act at 50.

Our speakers collectively covered the basics of the Clean Water Act, shared perspectives from specific communities, and discussed opportunities for more progress.  And hope!

The value of today's program will continue to grow as as we distribute the recordings beyond the audience that was able to join us today.

Save the Date!

The 2022 Watershed Congress will be held on Saturday, October 22 virtually.

More information regarding time and program will be shared soon.

In a Watershed Congress special event, this year’s theme is focused on the Clean Water Act at 50. The Watershed Congress 2022 programming will be shorter than in previous years to allow the spotlight to remain on the 50th Anniversary of 1972’s landmark legislation.

Join us as environmental leaders from our region present an in-depth look at the promise of the Clean Water Act, the effectiveness of its implementation to date, what it has meant for our communities, and the future of ongoing efforts and advocacy to secure truly fishable and swimmable waters.

We plan to return with a full Watershed Congress in Spring 2023.

Montgomery County Community College is not affiliated with the event and the College should not be contacted regarding the program.
