Artikauk (Tier 3) Intelligent Diurnal Herders
Habitats: Tundra, Rocky Drop, Flower Cove, Floating Islands
Territorial: Highly
Diet: Hunted Meat
Nesting Season: Winter, Fall
Nesting Grounds: Within Territory
Pack/Pair creature (4 max, 2:2 males:females, Borenhir = 2 Artikauk)
Important Notes:
-BURROW: Do not use
-Hunt at day unless desperate
-Nest 1-2 hatchlings at once
-Cannot have a Borenhir in the flock and have a herd
-Can live and hunt in water
-Herd can serve as a backup food source, not the only/main
Description: Said to be the embodiment of the change between Fall and Winter, Artikauk are an intelligent, advanced species capable of advanced problem-solving and high emotional diversity. Not only are Artikauk made mostly of toxic leaves, but their problem-solving allows them to quickly identify the weaknesses of attackers, making them prefer to attack predators rather than flee. Artikauk prefer to live on high cliffs, where their plumage keeps them warm.
Behavior: Artikauk are diurnal hunters, preferring to hunt for prey when they are most powerful. If they’re fully fed, they will return to defend territory once more. During the night, Artikauk flocks group together in a large pile on high cliffs, living off of the food they stored up. They are also quite territorial during this time, becoming very hostile towards most intruders. The pack structure of Artikauk is typically two pairs living in close quarters for the sake of protection. Despite technically being a flock of two male-female pairs, it is possible to see the males and/or females getting along better than with their “mates”. When these pairs nest, they will care for the children before sending them off at adulthood. Typically, the pairs will nest at the same time so they can send the children off with their pairs or even flocks made immediately. If the love does not work out, they may go their separate ways.
Ancient Connection: An ancient group of advanced Artikauk constructed the large mechanical beasts that are Borenhir. The Borenhir are passive towards Artikauk, and Artikauk have the same disposition towards them, even accepting Borenhir into their flock in place of two Artikauk. The Artikauk will share their food and territory with the Borenhir, and the Artikauk will protect the Borenhir as though it were its fellow packmates. The Artikauk will never hunt with the Borenhir, though.
Shepherd: The intelligence of the Artikauk allows it to take quite the alternative approach to hunting. In a flock without a Borenhir, Artikauk may attack a pack of passive, lesser intelligent herbivores to lead them to a select area near its flock’s territory to be watched over. One or even two Artikauk may keep the pack in the same space until the herd settles down. Eventually, after being fed berries, the herd might trust this pack of Artikauk, where they will be watched over and protected by the Artikauk from other predators. However, this is not entirely beneficial for the herbivores, as the Artikauk will kill and eat members of the herd if they need food, preferring to eat members not necessary for the pack’s reproduction.

Garra Warden (Medium) Lover of all things red
Habitat: Redwoods, Flower Cove, Volcano
Territorial: Mildly
Diet: Fruit
Nesting Season: Autumn, Sakura
Nesting Grounds: Nearby/In the parent’s hoards
Solo creature
Important Notes:
-VIRUS BREATH: Only used defensively, when fleeing, or against theives
-Flee if attacked, fight back if you can’t escape
-Will only protect 3 Tiny creatures at a time
-Can “trade” with any size creatures for food only, not protection
-Don’t turn protected protected Tiny’s into a gang
-Garra’s don’t guard bushes from other herbis, as bushes aren’t part of its
hoard
Turtle time!!!!
Description: Garra Wardens are terrifying creatures, at a first glance. Their absurd amount of spikes and teeth, combined with an extra set of arms give them a horrifying appearance. Their skin is usually shades of red with white accents, making them look skinned alive with hints of bone appearing. Despite their nightmarish appearance, Garra Wardens are actually friendly herbivores, their curled teeth and claws mostly for show and to filter out fruit from dense foliage.
Behavior: Garra Wardens are the most outgoing and friendly of any warden. They adore anything red no matter what it is, and will actively hoard and protect a stash of red colored objects whether it be fruit or corpses of the recently deceased. Garra Wardens will also attempt to protect small, red colored creatures, but will let them be if they're uncomfortable. If something that isn’t red stumbles upon a Garras hoard, the Garra Warden will become agitated, covering the now traumatized creature in a worrying amount of blood, before trying to become friends with it. However, if something tries to steal from the Garra's hoard, not even a Trutholbyeva can compare to the amount of rage and bloodlust that Garra Wardens will possess, attempting to sever the thief's arteries and causing severe bloodloss in seconds.
Nesting: Garra Wardens nest in Fall and Cherry Blossom, with males showing off their hoards to females, whichever male has the bigger hoard winning over the females. Garra Wardens will care for the baby until it is an adolescent, giving the child a small portion of their hoard before sending them off, and the parents splitting ways shortly after.
Obsession: Garra Wardens are so chronically obsessed with the color red that they’ll try to be friends with anything that has a sliver of the color red, even apex predators that could kill them with one bite aren’t ignored. If something red does attack a Garra Warden, it will become severely depressed and not venture away from its hoard for several days. If a Garra Warden finds something severely injured, it will freeze and stare at the (possibly) dying creature, having a special place in its heart for the specific shade of blood red. However, if a Garra Warden sees a creature whose blood is not red, it will have a mental breakdown and question whether reality is real or not until it gets distracted by something else red.

Lenarabu (Medium) Gentle Social Grazer
Habitats: Redwoods, Tundra, Flower Cove
Territorial: No
Diet: Plants
Nesting Season: Any
Nesting Grounds: Within territory
Pack creature (8 max)
Important Notes:
-BURROW: only use for nesting and foraging purposes, do not enter nests
while in danger/being actively attacked.
-ADRENALINE: only use defensively while fleeing
-Always flee from danger unless cornered, avoid killing
-Nest when food is abundant, no seasonal preference
-Small group branches off when pack is over capacity
Description: Genetic relatives of the mystical Verdant Warden and the dignified Irdegarde, Lenarabu are gentle, rabbit-like omnivores known for their easygoing and sweet personalities. These kind creatures love lopping in meadows, grazing on short grass and collecting juicy berries. While they completely avoid hunting (in fact, Lenerabu won’t lay a paw on another creature even when starving), they may nibble on a carcass when available. These creatures are flighty when faced with a threat; only when one is cornered will it fight back.
Behavior: Lenarabu are known for their large, interwoven colonies born out of their love for nesting and willingness towards strangers of their species. Their polygamous packs have no leader or hierarchy; rather, each member has a dedicated role within the community and op to fulfill their duties as such. For example, foragers gather berries and store them in the pack’s warren, nesters spend their time protectively warming their eggs, and guards work in shifts to keep a careful watch day and night for predators. Perhaps the most amusing of these is the babysitter; leverets are full of energy and highly curious, in which it is the babysitter’s job to prevent these pawfuls from sticking their noses in a Beezu hive. At the dawn of teenhood, young Lenarabu gain a sense of independence and usually select a role they wish to pursue, in which they shadow an adult to learn how to provide for their pack. Lenarabu nest during any season but only do so when food is abundant. When their pack grows too large, a small group of 2-3 members of mixed gender branch off to form their own colony.
Verdant Warden: Lenarabu are devout followers of the Verdant Warden, specifically the female warden, following it wherever it goes. Perhaps it is magic or an unusual 6th sense, but when a Verdant Warden is in the vicinity, Lenarabu are intrinsically drawn to the mystical beast like a magnet. Giant herds consisting of multiple colonies congregate around the warden to give it trinkets and berries, leaving it often flattered. Lenarabu take the Verdant Warden’s word as gospel and only leave if it dispells them.

Quezekel (Medium) Choir Coaches
Habitats: Jungle, Flower cove, Swamp, Pride rocks
Territorial: No
Diet: Scavenged Meat, Stolen Meat, Bot Meat
Nesting Season: Any
Nesting Grounds: Anywhere
Solo / Pair creature (3 max Tiny/Small creatures per Que)
Important Notes:
-POISON AREA: Used before fleeing from something that outmatches them (large groups of creatures)
-INVISIBILITY: Used to hide from perceived threats that outmatch them (do not have mud ailment on while invis)
- Prefer having photovore creatures for their hoards but can still have herbi / omni / carni(+photocarni) creatures too (all species in hoard must be small or tiny tier)
- Must be impressed by the singing of each other's hoards to pair up with another Que
- Gather at pride rocks in Summer and Sakura to have singing competition with your hoards, winner team is given gifts of food by loser teams
- Child is abandoned once nested in
Description: Quezekel are curious creatures, despite being blind they have an incredible sense of smell and hearing. They can easily differentiate species via their scent, and quite like some of the sounds other creatures produce.
Behavior: Que have a diet that consists purely of scavenged and mysterious meat. They’ll use their heightened sense of smell while gliding around to seek out food, having no qualms in stealing it from another creature if they must. Que are aggressive to other species capable of eating them; they will threateningly display at carnivorous, omnivorous, or herbivorous species that approach them, but will only attack if hit first. However, should they encounter something they believe severely outmatches them they will release a cloud of poisonous spores before fleeing quickly to hide until the threat passes. The only time Que may be friendly towards a herbi / omni / carni species is if it is a lone small one, and thus almost entirely incapable of threatening the Que.
Choir: Due to their impeccable sense of hearing Que are quite fond of the sounds other creatures make. They like to hoard small creatures because of this, having a preference for small photovorous species seeing as they can not eat the Que due to their diet. Once they gather a small group of creatures they will teach them how to use their calls together to make songs. Que are highly protective over their little singers, going out of their way to guard them from threats. Though, if a Que can not fend off the danger it may sacrifice one member of its hoard to protect the rest. They will grieve the loss of said sacrifice until they find another member for their hoard. If a Que stumbles across another Que they may try to impress each other by having their hoards sing for the other. If both like the other Que’s hoards singing they may pair up together, combining their hoards in the process. In the Summer and Sakura seasons Que will gather at the Pride Rocks to have their hoards compete against each other. All will team up with one other Que ( Pairs automatically teaming up together. ) and then have their hoards sing together. Que without hoards or a teammate act as the judges of the contest; the team with the most liked song is the winner. The winners and their hoards will then be praised for their music, being given gifts of food by the other Que teams.
Seeds: Que reproduce anytime of the year, occasionally seeds may drop off of Que that have a hoard and will root themselves into the ground. These seeds grow into baby Que that immediately must fend for themselves once they come to life.

Urzuk (Medium) Easygoing and Unusual
Habitats: Tundra, Redwoods, Pride Rocks, Jungle
Territorial: No
Diet: Plants, Scavenged Meat
Nesting Seasons: Spring, Fall, Winter
Nesting Grounds: Warden shrines
Solo/Pair/Family/Pack creature (8 max)
Important Notes:
-Do not protect any creature besides one you are bonded with (if it’s a predator, do not help it hunt)
-Can only be bonded with a solo creature
-Special bonds are only fully sealed after spending at least 2 seasons with the creature. If they die during this time, they can find another creature to bond with
Description: A peculiar yet peaceful creature, Urzuk species was born with characteristics from 3 wardens: Boreal, Angelic, and Eigion. With Boreals resistance to the snow and ice, Urzuks often prefer living in colder environments as it is more comfortable for them. With Eigions diving capabilities, Urzuks like to spend their time diving through the water (especially during the hot seasons to cool themselves off) with their water resistant wings. Urzuks are able to observe the health of other creatures better than others and are a bit resistant to several ailments with Angelics powers. The Urzuks mask was said to be especially handcrafted by Angelic itself.
Behavior: Urzuks can be found in any type of group numbers. Since Urzuks do not really feel any type of connection to most creatures around them (not even their own kind) they tend to just congregate in similar areas with ease. During the night, Urzuks sleep at the highest peaks of Tundra where they can have the best view of Sonaria as they drift off to sleep. Urzuks refuse to enter warm biomes such as desert or volcano unless it is winter because if not, they will often become overheated. If by chance an Urzuk is attacked, it will quickly fly away, not worrying about any of its fellow members, if it has any. They are often very hard to catch, as Urzuks have the ability to dive in and out of water for long periods of time.
The Wardens/Nesting: Since Urzuk was created in the Wardens’ image, they tend to have a close relationship with them, and even are able to hear the Wardens' voices at times. Urzuks will only ever nest near a warden shrine. They can nest with a mate or asexually, and will not make taking care of the babies a priority. The children are now free to roam as they please. If by the slim chance an Urzuk spots a Warden in the flesh, the Urzuk will bow down, and will often stay near them to give them company and whatever they desire.
That One Special Creature: Because Urzuks don’t really experience any connections with other creatures, they tend to be quite emotionless. But, if an Urzuk is able to find that one special creature, whether its a fellow Urzuk or another species, the Urzuk will spend the rest of its life unconditionally bonded to it. If the bonded creature is attacked, the Urzuk will defend its partner. If they flee, the Urzuk will follow. Nothing can break the bond besides the intense event of death. In the case of Urzuk losing its special bond, it will never be able to recreate the same feeling again and the Urzuk will never be the same. But, the special bond between the two isn’t fully sealed until they have spent at least 2 seasons with each other.
