The Secretary performs administrative duties to support the PTO. The Secretary is responsible for:
Recording and distributing PTO meeting minutes.
Presenting minutes from the preceding months meeting at Executive and General Meetings.
Keeping up to date files of PTO minutes, bylaws and events, as well as vendor and charity organization information.
Creating, maintaining, and updating a calendar of PTO events, and keeping an open line of communication between the PTO and the school secretary with regard to such events.
Work in conjunction with the Committee Chair for the School Directory to oversee the distribution of the directory to the student body consisting of phone number and email addresses of Executive Officers, School Secretary, Principal, Absent Line and other important numbers.
