The PTO President will be responsible for the following:
Will preside at all meetings and provide a written agenda for each meeting that will:
Give the opportunity for each committee to present updates of activities to the PTO.
Give the opportunity for the development of new committees as necessary.
Establish, maintain, and update bylaws as needed.
The President will be responsible for reviewing school needs with the School Committee, Principal, Walton teachers, aids, and staff. The President then shall present this information to the PTO for discussion.
The President will direct the fundraising, community service, and family events to ensure they are on schedule and adequately staffed.
The President will oversee the recruitment of new members.
