Disclaimer: It is not within the scope of their license for most clinical professionals to do psychoanalysis proper, but psychoanalysis as a body of literature, theory, research and conceptualization is useful to the practicing professionals in doing wellness counseling and psychotherapy across a range of settings and with varied populations.

Cultural Studies
In this course we will read a range of papers and chapters beginning with a historical perspective on cultural studies and proceeding through a sampling of major theoretical and practice models leading up to the most recent work and research in the field. The discussions each week will take up what is informative or innovative in cultural studies and with illustrations/examples presented by participants.
Interdisciplinary-Based Psychology
Psychology within an interdisciplinary approach provides the space to explore the mind-body-place of a person's life experiences within relationships that are contributing to thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We explore the following practice-based orientations: Talmudic Halacha, Architectural Psychology, Art & Humanities, Psychodynamic & Cognitive Psychotherapy, and the Natural Sciences.
Current Models, Theories, & Practices in Psychology
This course covers models, theories and practices in psychology and its application to professional settings. It also considers issues in the practice of professional services and supervision. We will consider the key concepts of each model, theory, and application practices. Strengths and limitations of each approach are also explored as well as the impact of these theories on people diagnosed within the fields of medicine & psychology.
