E.A.T. - Everyone At the Table

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) defines food insecurity as the lack of consistent access to enough food to maintain a healthy and active life. In 2019, Clinton County experienced a food insecurity rate of 9.7% while Eaton County was 11.8% (Feeding America).

Wacousta Community UMC has been supporting Blessings in a Backpack and other area organizations committed to meeting food insecurity needs through E.A.T Fundraisers like Soup Sundays.

Soup Sundays

We were delighted to be back together to enjoy some delicious soups and raise funds for Blessings in a Backpack and the Grand Ledge SDA Food Pantry.

Soup Sundays are typically the first Sunday of the month. Watch the newsletter and Weekly Connections for announcements.
