TEAM 1: Eating habits

Students create a survey about eating habits and how these have changed due to the pandemic. They will show the results with a short presentation.

TEAM 2: Nutrition and health risks

Students learn about issues related to nutrition. Then they perform: a poster, a poem, a song, a slogan, a slideshow, the video of a short play, the video an advertisement on one of the following topics:

  • Nutrition disorders (Anorexia, bulimia) and their consequences;

  • Guilt over eating and self-induced vomiting behavior;

  • Healthy meal;

  • The meaning of food;

  • The reasons why people diet

  • Nutrition and well-looking;

  • Childhood nutrition importance.

TEAM 3: Food and sustainability

Students will deal with:

- the meaning of “sustainable food”;

- the impact that the production of food has on the environment;

- the benefits and risks connected to the use of pesticides;

- how to read food labels;

- thinking about the possibility of consuming “zero mile food” to help reduce the impact of CO2 on the environment;

- advantages of “vertical farming” in urban areas;

- biological agriculture; and

- growing vegetables on the roof of our buildings or on our balconies.

TEAM 4: Gastronomic traditions

Together, students will discover different gastronomic traditions, make comparisons between the specific gastronomic features of their countries and find similar food preferences among them and their partners. They will collect them and combine it in an "EBOOK"

TEAM 5: Healthy meals

What makes a meal “healthy”? Students learn about all the elements that should be included in a healthy diet and about balanced meals.
