📝Designing a Vulpix (Extended)

Markings

Markings that are similar in nature and color are counted as a single marking when using a marking applicator!
(Stripes on the neck and similar stripes on the rump count as a single marking!)

Fusions

A fusion is just that; A fusion! When designing a Vulpix with a fusion trait, colors and traits from the fusion pokemon may be used.
Traits from the fusion pokemon must be placed in similar areas on the Vulpix. (EX. Rockruff's neck spikes cannot be placed on the body, legs, or tail of the Vulpix.)

Colors from the fusion may be included anywhere on the Vulpix, and can even be mixed with the Vulpix's base colors! (EX. An albino Vulpix fused with a Luxray may take on a darker shade of pink, blue, or yellow.)
Any additional markings not present on the Vulpix's base design or fusion's design will need a Marking Applicator.

Lastly, the Vulpix's anatomy may change to an extent when fusing with another pokemon. A Vulpix can be drawn both quadrupedal and/or bipedal regardless of fusion, but must still clearly be a Vulpix. This being said, a fusion's traits and anatomy may replace 80% of a Vulpix's design.

Chimera

Chimera Vulpix are half one base and half another! Chimera can cover up to 80%, and be a minimum of 20%, of a Vulpix and can have their own markings (with the use of Marking Applicators if applicable.)

Chimera cannot be in the shape of specific markings (stripes, spots, etc)

If the main base of a Vulpix is Kanto and chimera is Alolan, or vice versa, it's up to the designer to use either or Kanto or Alolan traits!

Delta Types

Delta traits are traits that alter the typing, colors, and physical traits of a Vulpix!
These Vulpix can be treated similarly to Variant and Domesticated, meaning they may have any number of additional markings without needing a Marking Applicator.

May take on muted colors such as browns, greys, black, white, pink, green, and yellow
Traits associated with real life animals and plants, but nothing too exotic

May take on colors such as red, blue, yellow, or beige. Exciting colors, but not too wild!
Traits associated with fighters/fighting styles. May take on a humanoid or bipedal appearance

May take on colors associated with the sky such as blues and whites
Traits associated with the sky or anything flying such as birds, clouds, and balloons. May have wings and talons, but cannot completely change the Vulpix into an avian.

May take on colors associated with poison or toxins such a green, purple, black, and neons
Traits associated with poison or chemicals such as being made of sludge or goop, as well as poison plants or even snakes and frogs.

May take on earthly colors such as browns, beige, oranges, and muted yellows and greens
Traits associated with the ground and earth such as sand, dirt, mud, and clay. May also have traits associated with moles or other burrowing animals

May take on colors such as browns, reds, oranges, yellows, greys, and blacks. May also have natural gem colors such as pinks, purples, and blues.
Traits associated with rocks, fossils, and hard ground materials such as gems, bones, fossils, and glass

May take on colors such as browns, greens, reds, and yellows
Traits associated with bugs such as mandibles, pincers, antenna, and bug wings

May take on colors such as purples, blacks, whites, and reds
Traits associated with ghosts such as transparency, bones, smoke, masks, gravestones, and being undead

May take on cool colors such as silver, greys, whites, blacks, and gold
Traits associated with metal and steel, as well as machinery and robots. May have nuts and bolts, armor, and be made of metal

May take on warm colors such as reds, oranges, yellows, and whites. Can also have colors that chemical fires have such as blue, purple, or green
Traits associated with fire or anything hot such as lava, smoke, ash, and volcanos

May take on aquatic colors such as blues, whites, pinks, and yellows
Traits associated with aquatic life or the water such as fish, pools, oceans, rivers, water plants, bubbles, foam, and rain

May take on colors found in plants such as greens, yellows, reds, browns, and whites
Traits associated with plants such as trees, grass, vines, dirt, flowers, and fruits and vegetables

May take on colors associated with thunder and lightning such as yellows, whites, and blues
Traits associated with electricity or electronics such as lightning, electronics, thunder clouds, and explosive energy

May take on colors such as pinks, purples, whites, and blues
Traits associated with psychic abilities and magic such as telekinesis, space themes, magic balls, and anything mysterious

May take on colors associated with the cold such as blues, whites, and greys
Traits associated with ice and snow such as being frozen, white smoke and mist, or even thicker fur associated with winter animals

May take on harsh or dark colors such as blacks, reds, greens, purples, and browns
Traits associated with dragons such a mythology and lizards, wings, claws, fangs, and may be larger than normal

May take on softer colors such as pinks, purples, whites, blues, and yellows
Traits associated with fairies and gentle themes such as butterflies, stars, bows and ribbons, and otherwise "cutesy" items. These Vulpix may also be smaller than normal

May take on darker colors such as blacks, greys, reds, and purples
Traits associated with darkness such as shadows, mischief, destruction, the moon, and general "evil"

Vulpix Body Shapes + Accessories

Vulpix can be drawn quadrupedal, bipedal, humanoid, and human! Though, we do ask that if a Vulpix has a strictly human design that they also have a Vulpix or Humanoid form as well.

When designing with height in mind, be sure not to design a normal Vulpix too big or small! They can be slightly taller or shorter, but not enough to assume a different trait such as Pygmy or Werepix. Although, drastic height changes may be applied when the Vulpix is fused with a large/small pokemon or is a Delta type can can alter size.

When adding accessories on a normal/quadrupedal Vulpix, anything considered "heavy" or covers more than 25% of the body requires a Silk Scarf.
On bipedal, humanoid, and human it's a little more lenient! Simple clothing does not require a Silk Scarf in this case (Shirts and pants, dresses, overalls, shoes, hats, etc), but it will be required if the Vulpix is wearing heavy accessories or clothing (armor, big bags/backpacks, weapons and holsters, etc.)
