Welcome to my research lab!

I'm Virginia Snodgrass Rangel, an associate professor in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and an affiliate of the Measurement, Quantitative Methods and Learning Sciences Program at the University of Houston.

My research interests include underserved student pathways into STEM studies and careers and K-12 principal preparation. Within these broader areas, I'm very interested in why individuals make the career-related choices they do and how supports such as mentoring can help shape career pathways.
