Welcome to my research lab!

I'm Virginia Snodgrass Rangel, an associate professor in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and an affiliate of the Measurement, Quantitative Methods and Learning Sciences Program at the University of Houston.

My research focuses on career development in  STEM studies K-12 educational leadership. Within these broader areas, I'm very interested in the role of motivational beliefs and how supports such as mentoring can help shape career pathways.
