Competition 1/4
The subject matter is Swami Vivekananda’s lecture in the 1893 Parliament of World Religions (11 Sep. 1893 - Inaugural speech).
In the 1st stage, candidate will have to translate the speech into Telugu/Hindi/both. Speech and its translation have to be written two times, as an assignment, at home. Not more than one sheet of paper is allowed for the submission. If translated to both languages, due additional weightage will be given in the evaluation. Last date to submit: 30-01-2010.
In the 2nd stage, the selected candidates will have to appear for a test where they have to write speech in English and Telugu/Hindi/both by memorizing only. Performance in more than one language will give additional weightage in the evaluation.
In the 3rd (last) stage, all the candidates will have to give stage performance by oral presentation of the lecture.
Winners will be based on overall performance in all the 3 stages.
