Stud Dog Availability & Requirements

Max will be available for stud in 2027, only after he has reached 2 years of age and successfully completed all required health testing, including hips, elbows, cardiac, thyroid, eyes, and dentition.

Max is available exclusively to approved, fully health-tested, in standard German Shepherd Dog females. No exceptions.

Max is a correct male with an outstanding temperament, solid structure, and strong pedigree. We look forward to seeing the positive qualities he will contribute to the breed through carefully planned, responsible Breedings.

Health & Genetic Disclosure

Max is a long-coat carrier.
If bred to another long-coat carrier, long-coat puppies will be produced.
If long-coats are not desired in your program, Max is not the appropriate stud for you.

Max is DM clear. We do not support breeding DM carriers.

Female Temperament Requirements
Females must exhibit a stable, sound temperament and must not display aggression, severe anxiety, or nerve instability toward myself or any party involved in the breeding process.

Any female displaying concerning behavioral traits will be refused.

Note: Protective, defensive, or heightened behavior directed toward the stud male may be tolerated and managed appropriately. Hormonal fluctuations during the breeding process can temporarily alter a female’s typical behavior and will be understood. Such behavior will be evaluated in context and does not automatically disqualify a female, provided it is situational, manageable, and does not pose a safety risk to the stud, handlers, or veterinary staff, should the breeding take place at our veterinary office.

Breeding Logistics
We do not place a strict limit on the number of breeding, provided both dogs are healthy and the process is not placing undue stress on either dog.

If you choose to leave your bitch with us during the breeding process, there is no boarding fee. She will stay inside the home with us. All females left in our care must be fully house and crate trained.

If you are not comfortable leaving your bitch with us, you are more than welcome to bring her to us for each individual breeding.

Health Documentation Requirement
All required health documentation must be provided and reviewed prior to scheduling a breeding.

Female Condition on Arrival
Females must arrive clean, well maintained, and in good physical condition. They must also arrive free of fleas, ticks, and internal parasites.

We reserve the right to decline stud service at our discretion, at any time and for any reason, if we determine that a potential breeding is not in the best interest of Max, the female, or the German Shepherd Dog breed.
