Anna Perttu
Anna is a geophysicist specializing in infrasound and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at ULB in Brussels. Her research focuses on both the recording and characterization of infrasound signals. She has previously worked as a station operator for the International Monitoring System (IMS), and has installed and maintained infrasound, seismic, and geodetic stations globally. She has also researched the estimation of volcanic plume heights from regional to global infrasound, and the characteristics of infrasound generated by pyroclastic density currents. She earned a PhD from Massey University, and previously worked for the Earth Observatory of Singapore, and the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.
