On September 23, 2023, a tragic accident claimed the life of Justin Turner, a 21-year-old student at Texas Tech University. Turner, a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, was struck by a vehicle while crossing University Avenue near the intersection with Marsha Sharp Freeway in Lubbock, Texas. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, the injuries sustained in the Justin Turner Texas Tech Accident were severe, ultimately leading to his death on September 26, 2023.
