Tools and Gameplay Programmer
My name is Vladimir Chavdarov and I'm an Engine and Tools programmer with occasional work on Gameplay elements. I'm born in Bulgaria and I'm currently studying Game Technologies at Breda University of Applied Sciences.
I have passion for making games and more importantly, enabling other people to do so. I have strong experience with C++, Unreal Engine, Custom Engines and Game-applied math.
As for many other developers, playing games has been a huge part of my childhood. I was particularly interested in RTS games like StarCraft and Dawn of War. In my teenage years, I was highly involved in the revitalizing the Bulgarian StarCraft esports scene by organizing tournaments for my favourite game. As I grew older, I started to wonder how such games are actually made, what are the technologies behind them, what makes them fun. By combining this genuine curiosity with my passion for programming, I ended up here.
So far, I have been programming for 7 years and I have 2 years of experience with game programming. I have experience in various fields which makes me a good fit for Tools or Gameplay roles, able to work both on high-level game features as well as the engine's back-end. I love working close to the end-user - my love for making people's lives easier and better is what drives me forward!
