Some journeys are not planned for content, they happen for the soul. Our picnic at Paristan with relatives turned into one such timeless memory—wrapped in cool mountain air, green meadows, flowing streams, and laughter echoing across valleys. Paristan, nestled deep in the Himalayas, offered us not just scenic beauty but a feeling of belonging that only pahad can give.
With clear views of Sharvadhar, Googly Dhar, Sunaseri and Dudhpava, the day unfolded slowly, beautifully, and naturally—just the way mountain life is meant to be lived.
This picnic reminded me why I am proud to belong to the Himalayas. You don’t need luxury resorts when you have grass as your carpet, sky as your roof, and mountains as your companions.
Paristan gave us memories, smiles, and calm that will last far longer than the day itself.
If you ever feel overwhelmed, come here—not as a tourist, but as a guest of the mountains.
“In pahad, even ordinary days become extraordinary.”
