Googly Dhar & Sunaseri via Alinbass and Tumur Ridge (Summer Journey)

Summer in the Himalayas has its own language—soft winds, slow clouds, and endless shades of green. This journey through Googly Dhar and Sunaseri, via Alinbass and Tumur Ridge, felt like walking through that language, where nature speaks quietly and clearly.
We started from the Alinbass side, riding slowly as the landscape opened up. Summer had fully settled here. Meadows were alive, forests dense, and the air carried a fresh warmth mixed with mountain coolness. Every turn revealed something new—terraced fields far below, scattered houses clinging to slopes, and distant ridges fading into the sky.
As we climbed higher, Tumur Ridge appeared—strong, silent, and perfectly placed between the valleys of Pogal and Paristan. Standing on the ridge felt unreal. On one side lay the deep, layered valley of Pogal; on the other, Paristan stretched wide and calm. Clouds moved freely between both valleys, sometimes hiding villages, sometimes revealing them again like a slow-moving story.
The summer clouds were playful. Mist would suddenly roll in, cool and gentle, then clear just as quickly, opening views that felt endless. Sunlight filtered through gaps in the clouds, lighting up patches of forest and grass like spotlights from the sky.
Moving towards Googly Dhar, the terrain softened into wide green slopes. This place feels open and peaceful—perfect for summer grazing, quiet walks, and long pauses. The wind here carried the smell of grass and rain, and the silence felt deep, broken only by distant bird calls.
From there, Sunaseri welcomed us with calm beauty. Summer had turned it into a living painting—lush hills, clear air, and a steady rhythm of nature. We sat quietly, letting time slow down. No urgency. No noise. Just the feeling of being exactly where we were meant to be.
What made this journey special was not speed or distance, but balance—between two valleys, between sun and cloud, between movement and stillness. The path through Alinbass and Tumur Ridge doesn’t rush you; it teaches you to slow down.
As evening approached, clouds thickened again, shadows grew longer, and the mountains settled into silence. We turned back carrying something light yet powerful—mental peace.
This is the beauty of summers in Pogal–Paristan. Not dramatic, not loud—just pure, grounding, and deeply real.
Some journeys don’t change your location much.
They change your state of mind.
