Set Up Your Vizio TV
Unboxing a new Vizio TV is exciting—but if you want it looking sharp, sounding great, and ready to stream in minutes, you need to set it up the right way. This guide walks you through the full process, step by step, so you skip the guesswork and start watching like a pro.
Place the TV screen-down on a soft surface.
Remove all packaging, plastic, and tape.
Attach the stand using the provided screws, or prepare your wall mount setup.
Position the TV in a glare-free spot near a power outlet and Wi-Fi source.
Plug the power cord into the TV and a surge protector.
Press the power button on the remote or TV.
When the screen lights up, follow the on-screen prompts to begin setup.
Select your language and region.
Choose your home Wi-Fi network from the list.
Enter your password correctly (case-sensitive).
Wait for the TV to connect.
