Players are allowed to build bases in artifact caves or boss caves (caves with terminals), but full enclosure of the cave is prohibited. There must be a clear passage for others to navigate through the cave. Building on high-resource spawn locations, obelisks, or admin spawn points is strictly prohibited.
Players are permitted to establish two distinct base locations: a primary main base and an outpost*.
Upon reaching Tier 3 in the Settlement System, the option to establish outposts becomes available. Each settlement is limited to one outpost, with donors having the privilege of creating up to two outposts. Outposts must conform to the size restrictions set for Tier 2 Village. Additionally, the construction materials for outposts must not exceed the current tier of the tribe's main residential structure.
In towns, there is a specific rule allowing only one stone structure between the main residential area and the outpost. Moreover, boats equipped with beds are considered valid outposts within this system and are unlocked at Tier 2 Village. A boat is specifically defined as a raft featuring structures and permanent beds onboard. To exempt a raft from being classified as an outpost, the onboard structures must be limited and not surpass the use of temporary sleeping bags. All rafts must be destroyed before logging off for the day.
Only One Outpost per Settlement, Two allowed for Donators.
Outposts must adhere to the size restrictions applicable to Tier 2: Villages within the Settlement System.
Materials used in the construction of outposts must be equal to or below the current tier of the tribe's main residential structure.
Towns may only have 1 stone structure between their main residential area and outpost.
All boats must be legitimate outposts.
Boats are considered outposts within this system. A boat is specifically defined as a raft featuring structures and permanent beds onboard.
Rafts are defined as any floating structure intended to be used for 1 activity then destroyed. All rafts must be destroyed before logging off for the day.
In accordance with rule B2, you must build and occupy a base in the desired location. Players may NOT claim areas with just foundations or any other structure. Any random foundation(s)/structure(s) across the map may be destroyed, with staff approval. If you see a random foundation at a base location you are interested in taking, make a ticket and wait for staff approval.
With this being said, players are NOT allowed to place spam around their own base or another location to prevent people from building or prevent resources from spawning!
Players are prohibited from utilizing Plant Species X in player or tame mode. Plant Species X must be configured to attack only wild dinos and may never be altered to target players. To ensure the safety of players, all Plant Species X must be housed within a 1x1x2 box until fully mature, preventing any unintentional targeting of players during its growth phase.
B4. - B, Players are allowed to set their tames on neutral inside a fully enclosed space, such as inside their house/base, as a preventive measure against potential burglaries.
To maintain accessibility, structures are not allowed to block the entrances, specifically the Aberration Triple Split room (Lat: 67.1, Lon: 53.3). In the event of blocked entrances, an admin will dismantle the obstructing structures, and the owning tribe will receive a warning. Repeated offenses may result in more stringent penalties.
For settlements ranked at 3 or above, all tribe structures must be located within the medium render distance of the main base or outpost. Tribes with lower ranks must adhere to the area restrictions outlined in the Settlement System.
In the spirit of immersive gameplay, all constructions and builds must adhere to a reasonable standard of realism. Avoid creating structures that defy logic, such as floating bases or excessively towering structures. Strive for architectural designs that make sense within the context of the game world. Remember that an element of realism enhances the overall experience for all members of the community. Additionally, refrain from stacking foundations to create walls, ensuring a more authentic and visually coherent environment.
Players are prohibited from using honeycombing techniques in their base construction. This includes the use of additional doors or walls in a manner that creates unnecessary complexity or obstruction. Bases should be designed with clarity and accessibility in mind, promoting fair play and a balanced gaming environment. Violations of this rule may result in appropriate penalties, including warnings or more severe consequences, depending on the severity and recurrence of the offense. Offenders will also be required to rectify the issue promptly to ensure compliance with the rule.
To maintain a fair and transparent gaming environment, players are prohibited from utilizing hidden loot or cheesing mechanisms within their bases. This includes concealing loot behind an excessive number of walls or ceilings, clipping structures in order to conceal, or exploiting unconventional building methods to gain an unfair advantage. Every room containing loot must have a legitimate door, not a wall that can be picked up and placed down. Violation of this rule may result in penalties, including warnings or more severe consequences, and offenders are obligated to promptly rectify the issue to ensure compliance.
As an additional note, players are strongly encouraged to unlock decorative items such as glass cups or plants to safeguard them from destruction during thefts or raids. This practice allows players to retain their décor while maintaining fair gameplay standards.
B9. - B, All ladders and ropes must be unlocked, as S+ defaults them to a locked state.
