We highly suggest anyone participating in any PvP interaction follow the documentation rule, to avoid any discrepancies, or errors in staff judgment.
Thieving is defined as stealing from another tribe/player in any form. If you are playing a thief character, this server is a roleplay server first and a PvP server second!
When engaging in thievery, you MUST follow all General PVP rules, unless stated otherwise, and all Thievery Rules including:
T1. - B, The second you start a thievery and you die to a tame or a person, you must follow NLR aka not going back for your items or tames. (See rule: “G1. You Must Obey NLR”)
T1. - C, If you are caught while thieving you cannot initiate conflict with the persons you are robbing. You must attempt to run, deceive or simply surrender. If the one who is being stolen from initiates conflict roleplay, you may then escalate to PvP to defend yourself. (see rule: “G11. Value Your Life”)
T1. - D, If you are caught and/or killed during an attempted theft, your identity is known by the player who is defending.
T1. - E, You can NOT steal from the admin staging area (Stormlord Mining Company Docks) or any admin structures/shops.
When preparing to engage in thievery, reflect on the motives and intent. Roleplay thefts should be modest, contribute to roleplay, and serve a purpose. Defend your character's actions by recording your gameplay, and taking screenshots to back up your actions in the case of a complaint. In the absence of documentation during a ticket dispute, Staff will rely on the evidence provided to make a decision. Safeguard yourself by maintaining thorough documentation.
Document screenshots of:
Evidence, Notes, Clues, etc. ensuring legibility
All locations where evidence is found
All items stolen
All preserved items and their respective locations
When engaging in thievery, you must go in fully geared, prepared and must have intention behind the theft. You must also be fully prepared to accept all consequences of your actions, including losing your items or tames.
T3. - B, You must be geared, No naked thieving!
T3. - C, You must be prepare to preserve items you can not carry with you, use bad boxes in case you need to preserve items.

T4. - B, Shoulder Pets can be used, but can NOT carry items for you.
T4. - C, Thieves may only take what they can carry. Tames can NOT assist you with weight!

T4. - E, Tames can NOT be used to displace or move other players' tames.
When engaging in thievery, you must only do enough damage to obtain someone's loot. This means thieves are only allowed to destroy enough doors and window glass to get to the target. You may only break into THREE storage containers.
T5. - B, You may destroy any doors and window glass to get to the target, nothing else.
T5. - C, Thieves may not use explosives (ex. grenades), they cause too much collateral damage.

You can only hit the same tribe once per week, and there is a daily cool down period called “Laying Low”. When you are Laying Low, you may not steal from another tribe or player until after the next server restart.
T7. - B, You CANNOT change your appearance including clothing until 24 hours after the incident.
When engaging in thievery, you MUST leave behind Evidence. You must leave at least 3 clues that can lead back to you. The clues should give the affected tribe a way to begin the process of elimination (see below for examples). You cannot change your clothes until 24 Hours after the incident.
T8. - B, Evidence with 3 clues MUST be placed at the site of the crime.
T8. - C, If you die during thievery, you cannot go back for your belongings or tame(s), they can now be used as evidence.
