What a devastating few weeks. Happy, our big packgoat, is being buried here, where the mountain lion left him. He was killed in the barnyard, and the lion dragged him here, about 1000', but had to stop as he couldn't drag the carcass under the fence. Over the next few weeks, the lion came back and we lost a sheep and a turkey. We found the other goat and sheep a new home, until we are traveling less, this lion finds another home, and we have better protection for our critters. We miss them, though.
