About
Villanueva Fields
We are a 10-acre farm nestled along Pecos River, a quarter mile from the 200-year-old village of Villanueva, 1 hour from Santa Fe, and 1.5 hours from Albuquerque. The farm boasts a cottonwood bosque, lush pastures, and tilled fields, with rugged hillsides above.

Pontifications on lots of stuff
Katherine has been building this farm since 2005. She's a retired middle school bilingual science teacher, and mom of two, and a mechanical engineer from back in the day.
Jake has been visiting the farm for years. When COVID hit in March 2020, he sought refuge here "for a week or two" and never left, thank goodness! He is a retired scientist with a knack for citizen science initiatives.
