What we liked about each solution:
Samuel's solution: We liked the functionality of his project, he was able to get reactivity for the top 10 pickers and tags along with the time of day and map style. Samuel had different tabs in his website which displayed both the bar charts and the tables for the data. We also liked how he used the full use of the Litter picked by date graph and spread it out over the course of two years. It really made the project pop out and interactive as everyone could see over the course of two years how much litter was picked up.
Kevin's solution: Kevin's solution included all of the data and charts which was needed for the project. When you zoom in on his map to individual pieces of litter, you can click and it gives you a picture of that actual item. It really gives the user a feel for what type of data they are actually looking at instead of just having a bunch of a charts and graphs thrown up there. The color scheme he used was very unique and we as able to get a nice color scheme for all of the graphs.
Vijay's solution: Vijay's solution included a cool info box showing the total amount of litter picked up. Along with that he has a pop up box when you click the "About" link. We also liked his reactivity when it came to the graphs and charts. As a group we were able to see how the visualizations shifted. We also liked how all the graphs/chart appeared in the same tab in appropriate proportion.
