Description:

My project is a world-wide look at the data of litter surrounding the area of the Chicago-land suburbs. I took data from the Litterati phone application of all the litter pictured in the Village of Forest Park. The application has numerous visualizations when it is first displayed on the web browser and there are three main events the user can see. The first one is the About link at the top which can show you who created this project, the packages in RStudio I used and where I got the data from.

The second event will be the user being able to select a name from the top ten users and see the visualizations change depending on the name they chose. They will see only the data displayed for that given user and if no user is selected then all of the data is shown.

The third and final event will be for the user to select a specific tag of litter to display. Each piece of litter has either one or numerous tags attached to it depending on the product. The user can select the Top 10 tags of litter found in the data and like the previous event, they can see the graphs and tables change depending on the tag in which they choose.

The user will also be able to look at the map of Forest Park and see the different types of litter picked up. Like with the graphs and charts, if the user selects a name or tag they can see the map adjust as well.
