This rough map guides you along the full circular horse trek, showing each turn, bridge and special features so you can follow the route with ease.
Head out from the spawn and stroll ahead,
Turn to the south, along the long path tread.
Over the ravine, step carefully, I fear,
Past the memorial, to friends so dear.
Follow the stream on its northern side,
Past two log bridges, as forward you stride.
Skirt the great stone lying low in the ground,
Step through a meadow where lush grass is found.
On we roam, on we roam,
Through the fields, so far from home.
Round we go, on the trek we race,
’Til the path brings us back to our starting place.
North through the meadow with steady stride,
Past the small camp pitched off, on your very left side.
Take the mossy path through the shaded trees,
Bending to the right as it loops with ease.
(Rat-a-tat-tat!)
Leave that path and head south-east again,
Past a fallen sign, by the rainy glen.
Stay on the track where the fork lies near,
Though a shortcut’s tempting through woods so clear.
On we roam, on we roam,
Through the fields, so far from home.
Round we go, on the trek we race,
’Til the path brings us back to our starting place.
Turn to the north, over one stone span,
Zig-zag the incline as best as you can.
A path to the joust lies left if you please,
But we'll head along east, into rustling leaves.
Back to the spawn where the trail meets ends,
A full-round journey, as it bends and bends.
Circle completed, your wandering's done—
Till your horse gets twitchy for another run.
On we roam, on we roam,
Through the fields, so far from home.
Round we go, on the trek we race,
’Til the path brings us back to our starting place.
