Meet Victoria SoluadeĀ
I am a community-minded leader, business owner, student advocate, and candidate for Windsor City Councillor in Ward 7.
I am currently involved in student and community advocacy through the University of Windsor, including my work with OPUS, where I support the needs and voices of part-time students. I am also a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and travel professional, with years of experience helping individuals, families, and clients navigate important life decisions.
Through my work, studies in Political Science, and community involvement, I have developed a strong commitment to public service, practical problem-solving, and making sure people feel heard.
Why I am Running
I am running for Windsor City Council in Ward 7 because I believe residents deserve a councillor who listens, responds, and works hard to bring their concerns forward.
Ward 7 is home to families, students, seniors, newcomers, workers, and business owners who all want a safe, affordable, and well-managed community. I want to bring my experience in advocacy, service, leadership, and problem-solving to City Hall and help build a stronger Windsor where residents feel respected, included, and supported.
My Priorities for Ward 7
Listening to Residents
I will be accessible, responsive, and present in the community, so residents know their concerns are being heard.
Responsible City Spending
Windsor families are dealing with rising costs. City decisions must be practical, transparent, and respectful of taxpayers.
Roads, Infrastructure, and Community Safety
Ward 7 needs continued attention to roads, traffic concerns, sidewalks, lighting, and safe neighbourhoods.
Support for Families, Students, Seniors, and Newcomers
A strong city must support people at every stage of life, including those studying, working, raising families, aging, or starting over.
Stronger Community Connection
I intend to help build a Ward 7 where residents feel connected, informed, and proud of their neighbourhood.
