I joined fellow women municipal candidates in this video to encourage Windsor residents to vote women into Council. I am the second speaker.
Conversations, community events, and moments from the campaign trail.
I have been out door-knocking in Ward 7, meeting residents and listening to their concerns. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to speak with me. These conversations help me understand what matters on each street and in each neighbourhood.
I attended the Windsor Islamic Association’s Candidates Meet and Greet at Windsor Mosque. It was an opportunity to connect with residents, introduce my priorities, and meet fellow municipal candidates, including Natasha and Farah. Thank you to the organizers and everyone who joined the conversations.
I joined other women municipal candidates at the Women at the Table event at Gino & Liz Marcus Community Centre. We spoke about our campaigns and why we are running. Thank you to the Women of Windsor team, fellow organizers, and residents for an encouraging evening of conversation about women’s participation in local politics.
Young people’s sense of belonging leads my campaign priorities. I am listening to youth, families, and community organizations about spaces, activities, and the transit connections that make participation possible. Neighbourhood safety concerns differ across Ward 7 and deserve attention on their own terms.
