In this assignement I had to pick a hospital or health organization and create a stragtic plan doucment and then team up with my classmates and create an implemention process. A strategic plan document should tell a story about the organization, its current state, its
changing environment, and how it might fit into that changing environment to best
meet the needs of its customers and stakeholders while attaining its mission and vision.
Current Issue in Healthcare
In this assignment I explored a current issue in healthcare and that is Smoking and Vaping Nicotine. I explained the history of cigarettes and vaping risks that many young people are facing in current day. I then explained what is being done to prevent more people from picking up this habit and what stakeholders are involved.
Development of a Harm Reduction Strategy for the Unhoused Population
In this assignment I worked in a team with my fellow classmates to formulate a program that would help those who are experiencing homelessness and how to get people back on their feet. In the assignment we explained the background of homelessness, what caused many Americans to experience this, data and statistics, and a new program implementation that would benefit people in a positive non-judgement way.
