During my time in the Health and Physical Education Department, I was able to take an Assessment and Promotion class. This class exposed me to a variety of assessments which are shown in the Health and Physical Education Assessment Tools document below.
Assessment is a huge aspect of being an effective teacher. Assessments are not meant to be overwhelming. Quick assessments are very important in health and physical education classes, because of the huge emphasis that is placed on activity time.
I was lucky to have had exposure to creating written tests. Below is an EduProtocol formative assessment that I was able to take part in.
The two lesson plans below are the lessons that were taught as a part of my Student Learning Outcome at the elementary level. The lesson plan format used mentions assessment tools that are used multiple times.
