I created the remote Health and Physical Education curriculum for Moon Area Middle School and the five Moon Area Elementary Schools during the COVID-19 school closures. (To access the websites, click on the white buttons.)
During my student teaching experience, I was able to implement a Student Learning Outcome (SLO). The SLO focus was teamwork and cooperation at the third-grade level because of the exposure to group dynamics that they will have in their last nine weeks. Artifacts are below.
The two lesson plans below are the lessons that were taught as a part of my Student Learning Outcome at the elementary level. The Living Well lesson focus for both lessons was teamwork and cooperation. The psychomotor lesson focus was different in each lesson.
The 9th grade Health: CPR & AED Block Plan was created during my Secondary Field Experience.
Unit Goal: By the end of this unit, students will be confident in their ability to effectively perform the lifesaving skills of CPR & AED to an individual in an emergency.
The 3rd grade Striking and Nutrition Block Plan was created during my Elementary Field Experience.
Unit Goal: At the end of this unit, students will be empowered to make their own decisions when it comes to their personal nutrition habits and advocate for healthy eating at home and in the community.
