Assignment 1.a: SUBSCRIBE

If you have not already, please "subscribe" to the class which notifies me and assures me that you will be in the loop of communication.

TIP: keep up and don't work ahead without checking with me first. Some of the material is being revised a few weeks ahead of things. I look forward to meeting you in a couple of days!

WEEK 2

Assignment 2:

Read your Requirements Form.

Fall Supplies Fee is due $185. Please make check payable to Victor Kennedy or you may send cash.

(You can pay me through PayPal but please include a $3 service fee.-thanks )

You may include payment when you turn in your Requirements Form.

WEEK 3

Assignment 3:

Fill out/sign and hand in Requirements Form.

These first four weeks have been a time to prepare and work on a series of drawing exercises.

Now, you need to set up your digital portfolio:

Because I mistakenly posted last week the assignment for you to "REQUEST YOUR DAP" many of you have responsibly already requested you DAP.

You have art shows coming up. Be working at sellecting art to enter.

Assign't 5:

1.) For those interested, please enter by WEEK 6, images (to Mr. Kennedy) of the art you would like to submit as considerations for entering in the BJU HIGH SCHOOL FESTIVAL that takes place in October. The school office will be sharing information about this exciting event. Here is my info about it.

After the show, the winners will have their work hung in the building.

2.) FALL ART SHOW: First, we will have a Conservatory Art Fall Show. It is required that all Conservatory Art students submit at least three pieces of art to your Conservatory Art teacher. note: It is undecided whether or not Graphic Design and Interior Design will be included in this but Drawing & Painting and Studio Media will get a grade for this assignment. The Intro To Visual Arts are welcome but this is not mandatory. First step: You will submit images of your chosen art. The Conservatory Art faculty will select your best work.

You submitions may be of uncompleted work or even a sketch idea of what you would like to submit. You are to email your images this week by Wednesday to vkennedy@artiosacademy.com.

Your teacher will help you and allow you to work on them in class.
