Fairy Garden Terrarium

A fairy garden or terrarium is a miniature ecosystem that can be decorated with various accessories to create a magical scene.  Here are some general insrtuctions on creating your own.

Choose a suitable container for your terrarium, such as a glass jar, a fishbowl, or a wooden box. 

Fill the bottom of the container with a layer of gravel, sand, or dirt to create drainage. You can also add some activated charcoal to prevent mold growth.  Then add a layer of soil on top of the drainage layer. 

Plant some small plants in the soil, such as flowers, ferns, mushrooms, saplings, or coral. You can also use bonemeal to grow grass and flowers randomly. Make sure the plants are not too tall or they will touch the top of the container.

Decorate your terrarium with fairy garden accessories, such as a fairy house, a pond, a bridge, a fence, a sign, or an animal. 

Place a lid on your terrarium, or leave it open if you prefer. You can also add some lighting effects, such as glow-stone, lanterns, or fireflies, to make your terrarium more magical.
