Our Team

Aarohi Yalala-  Hi, my name is Aarohi. I am a 6th grader at Van Hoosen Middle School. This is my 1st year in FTC robotics. I am a part of the Outreach and Programming team. I enjoy dance, karate, and art. I really like robotics because we learn a lot of new things and we have a lot of fun.

Aahana Tyagi- Hi, my name is Aahana Tyagi. I am 11 years old and I am in 6th grade at Van Hoosen Middle School, and this is my 4th year of robotics, 3 years in elementary school, and this is my first year in middle school robotics! I am so excited! Some of the hobbies I like to do are swimming, tennis, and sketching. I’m in the mechanical team. I love doing robotics, I love all the building and the other fun things we do. 

Bryce Anderson- I’m Bryce Anderson. I used to live in Austin, Texas. I like to hang out with my twin brother, build Legos, run cross country, and use my 3D printers. One of my favorite sports is skiing, and I can ski more now that we live in Michigan. I think I want to be an engineer when I grow up. 

Dhanvin- Hello, my name is Dhanvin Saravanan, and I am 10. My hobbies are tennis, ping pong, chess, and hanging out with friends; also, my sub-team is programming. My favorite animal is a dog, and my favorite sport is tennis. I have done robotics for 3 years, and I am in 6th grade.           

Idika Kumar- Hi, my name is Idika Kumar. I’m an 8th grader at VHMS. My hobbies are reading, painting, and spending time with my friends. I’m also a band student who plays the clarinet. I joined robotics as a 5th grader in FLL-C. This is my 3rd year of FTC. I like robotics because I get to help plan our events.

Risha Rebba-My name is Risha Rebba. I am in 7th grade at Van Hoosen Middle School. Some of my hobbies are crocheting, playing saxophone, cooking, and dancing. I am on design and outreach. This is my 6th year of robotics, and I enjoy it every year! I like robotics because I can plan, design, and build. 

Saisha Vaswani- Hi, my name is Saisha Vaswani, and I am 12 years old and a 7th grader at Van Hoosen. I have done 6 years of robotics, 4 years in Elementary, and 2 years in middle school. I am part of the programming and Outreach sub-team. My hobbies are piano, volleyball, and art. I love to hang out with my friends and eat Mexican food. A fact about me is that I love to challenge myself and love working in groups. 

Tashi Dhanke- Hi, my name is Tashi Dhanke, and  I  am 12 years old. I'm in 7th grade at Van Hoosen Middle School. I have done robotics since first grade, and I love it! In my spare time, I dance, art the clarinet, and read. I am in the build sub-team, and I enjoy helping with the outreach sub-team.  I like working in teams, and my favorite part of robotics is the competitions and the events. 

Tari Wirasingha- Hi, my name is Tari Wirasingha, and I’m an 8th grader at Van Hoosen Middle School. This is my fourth year of robotics, 2 previous years of middle school robotics, and 1 year of Elementary robotics. I am part of the Mechanical/CAD team and Outreach. I enjoy art, tennis, hanging out with friends, and more. I really enjoy robotics because you get to learn so many skills, and you can use the skills in the future, too. I hope that this year we can win some competitions and maybe even go to Worlds.

Thanay  Kothamasa 

Viraaj Saini-  Hi, my name is Viraaj Saini, I am 11, and I am a 6th grader at Van Hossen Middle School. This is my 3rd year of robotics. I have had 2 previous years of experience in elementary, and I am super excited for this new season. I am part of the programming team for the Vibranium Vikings. Some of my hobbies are soccer, sketching, swimming, and hanging out with friends. I really like robotics, because you learn new skills, you get new friends, and you learn valuable lessons along the way. I hope that this year we will be extremely successful.

Yashi Vedula- Hi! I’m Yashi Vedula and am 11 years old. I’m in 6th grade at Van Hoosen Middle School. I’m in the Programming team. I play the violin, and I play many sports (Tennis, Golf, Basketball, Soccer, Badminton, etc.).  I really like robotics and using STEM to solve problems. I can’t wait to do so many things that I have wanted to do for so long during FTC Robotics.
