Japanese volunteers organized a myriad of activities for international scholars. Trying a kimono was one of the favorites among foreign students. It can take 1 hour to finish dressing, of course, you need 1 or 2 helpers unless you are an expert. The kimono wore in the picture needs 8 belts! 

Guaina (from quechua wayna) is a term of endearment used in Argentina to young women. The term is often used to refer to gaucho women. In this opportunity, Vero dressed as a guaina to do volunteer work to promote Argentina's culture at the annual golf competition organized by Argentina's Embassy in Japan. 

The catrina ("elegant skull") is an iconic figure from Mexican culture. Every year, it is common to see Mexicans dressing as catrinas during the day of the dead (día de los muertos) celebrations. Please notice that the day of the dead has nothing to do with zombies or with Halloween. Vero joined the celebrations during a visit to family members in Mexico.

Temaiken is a biopark in Argentina. Vero visited the park and filmed the hippopotamus. The video became viral, with more than 150k views!
