Dear Parents of <Student Name>
Your ward has a total of <Absent Days> absences from the college in this month under <Course> < Course Year> <Paper Code> Paper/ Sessions. His/Her teacher <Faculty Name> and I are concerned about the effects of this absenteeism on his/her educational progress.
Our College policy requires that pupils attend the college every day unless an absence is necessary due to illness or some other unusual circumstance. As per the rule set by the college management, students scoring less than 75% average attendance in the month shall not be allowed to sit for the college exam. I am advising you of these requirements to emphasize the importance of regular college attendance.
If your ward is ill or an unusual circumstance comes up in the family, make sure the college is notified right away through a phone call or an email. If your ward is absent more than five consecutive days due to illness, we would like to have a statement from your doctor verifying the illness.
We are asking for your cooperation in making sure your ward’s college attendance improves. If you would like to discuss the matter with me or his/her teacher, please call or visit us in the college.
Expecting your cooperation in this regard.
Sincerely,
Prof.Dr.Rishi Aacharya
Dean
