Favorite Memory from School: Participating in my Freshman and Senior year International Nights.
Faculty Shout-Out: Ms. Jackson! She has book-ended my high school career as an AP student, teaching me AP Human Geography the first term of my Freshman year, and AP Government the last term of my Senior year. Not to mention, we went on a trip to Japan together!
Tradition You'll Miss Most: The ever-satisfying closure of all my tabs after an essay. Though I'm sure UCLA has a few essays in store for me!
3 Things You Can't Live Without: My mother, my father, and my brother. One would typically group them together under 'family,' but so long as I have them, there's nothing I can't live without!
COVID-19 Activity: Language studies! Though I started years ago, I spend a majority of my time now studying Japanese for further use in the Navy.
Favorite Book: The Trilogy of Tyranny: Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, and 1984. I can't choose just one, because they each contain valuable messages reflected in the modern era.
Post High School Plans: I will attend University of California, Los Angeles, on the basis of the NROTC Scholarship. I aim to major in Microbiology, Immunology, & Molecular Genetics, as well as minor in Japanese.
