Creation process of a CLIL lesson

1. Be sure of what to teach (know your curriculum content, culture-related strands, tangible product).

2. Material search: books, short videos, Internet, cultural artefacts, worked samples, etc. Be aware of the pupil's language competence and developmental stages.

3. Select activities you want your students to do (Cognition: process to teach the integrated content,). Think about the same activities children would do in English, and be aware of your pupil's language 2 competence and curriculum requirements.

4. Analyse the language to be used to provide proper scaffolding (communication)
