This week, the VAR Lab members received various stroke survivors at IEETA, in the scope of a GAM Aveiro meeting, allowing them to test our most recent prototypes on Tangible XR interfaces for supporting rehabilitation scenarios.

Researcher Pedro Reisinho co-organized the University of Aveiro’s ninth edition of the Global Game Jam®️, the world’s largest game creation event held simultaneously in multiple countries, which brought together over 40 students from Aveiro and other institutions across Portugal to create 10 original games in 48 hours.

This week, the students from the Virtual and Augmented Reality course presented their practical assignments, taking advantage of the VAR Lab's state of the art equipment. They also conducted a demo session, based on their prototypes, in which IEETA members had the possibility to test their creations.
